He writes really good original basslines and he plays them super fast. I think that would baisically explain why people think hes such a good bassist.

I agree with whoever said Rancid is getting worse at time passes.
They were in their prime in 94 and indestructible is pretty much crap. Too much blatant political nonsense.

my friend let me borrow their early self titled album (not the apparently crap recent one, he let me borrow the one with the gun on the cover) and '..and out come the wolves'. and i really like this band, theyre really cool. ive been getting into a lot of bands that came out the 90s and these guys are definately one of my favourites.

Nothing beats their older stuff.

I'm not too fond of the side projects and what not.
