I still have hopes that their next album won't be all crappy club music.. I loved the first two albums with Fergie and even the END had a few tracks I really enjoyed, for one I think boom boom pow was really innovative hip-hop/electronica.

It's the same as most of the popular music these days.. it seems to be going in two ways. There seems to be more and more alternative and experimentalish songs makingit to the charts which is awesome.. and then there are songs like Ke$ha's and G6 etc that take new elements from the creative songs that people enjoy and make extremely repetitive bull**** that is extremely popular because the masses can't make decisions themselves.

BEP just seems to be subject to/contributing to both ends of that.. at least so far they have still been creative for the most part.. praying that continues to the next album in some way

I like Black Eyed Peas because their songs are so catchy and they actually have a lot of well written songs. However, "My Humps" is one song that is so catchy, it stops at that. The message is senseless and is stereotypical of songs about booty shakin girls.

sorry, so far 'XOXOXO' is the best song :vomit: (<-- need a smiley for this)

Can't wait to see them perform (half time) at the superbowl. I wonder what song they'll be singing.

"where is the love" caught my attention. I loved that song when I was younger. Everything else they've put out has been typical commercial crap with close to no originality at all. To be honest I don't even consider them Hip Hop anymore, just pop. Good Pop, bad Hip Hop.

I think Black Eyed Peas really matured over time. To go from "My Humps" to "The Time (Dirty Bit)" is really good progress. I'm waiting for their next single to see if their next album is worth listening to.

I love how their music is now completely hypocritical of their lyrics in 'Where is the Love?'

how so? and on each album they always have a song similar to "where is the love?" where they make a social commentary track.

I swear black eyed pea's is a what happens after years of focus-testing in labs and finding something that will appeal to every demographic. You got singing and sex appeal with fergie, corney rapping and autotune BS with will.i.am, and even a random native american dude in there for extra measure. Every single song is just some general party term, LETS GET IT STARTED
