not all rappers need to be intelligent to be greatness.....everyone seems to think so but it's not true. not all rap needs to be social conscious rap.

That type of rap appeals to the same people who like Bad Religion and Against Me!. Whatever, like it, listen to it, just know that it's sh*t.

thats where my vote is
most of the rappers on that poll cud never dream of WRITING lyrics as good as the ones that he just FREESTYLES

All write better than Wayne freestyles man. Wayne just has a cool voice, his rap is kinda wack

But if I have to pick an American rapper... The fellas from Cypress Hill.
Zach De La Rocha out of RATM should be in there, I think he is more intelligent then most of those guys on the intelligence argument.

Default Documentary

Very recently for school I edited a documentary that was about an Underground rapper known as the Truth. One of the questions that the director asked him was who were some of the most influential rappers in his life and the two that he named was Nas and Jay-Z. Seems to be everyones favorite rappers, that must say alot about their music.
