I love them both, but I think Biggie wins out.
2Pac, despite how good he was, had nothing that matched Ready To Die in my opinion - though Hit Em Up was the best diss track ever. |
I'm glad both are dead

It's a tired debate but once again: Biggie was a far superior rapper (voice/delivery/style -- better on all counts) and Tupac wrote better lyrics. Biggie. |
I like alot of 2Pac songs but overall I like BIG better.

Biggie was a Scarface rip-off, big time. 2Pac wasn't very creative, but he was a cultural landmark. Biggie had better flow and maybe better rhyming capabilities, but everything he did, Scarface did ten times better before him on Mr. Scarface is Back. (I referenced it a few posts ago.)
In the end, I'd pick 2Pac just because I felt he put more drive into what he did. I do think 2Pac is far overrated, though. |
Damn, this debate never dies. I like em both, but I like pac more. That sounds *** LOL

Definitely Biggie for me, but thats just my personal opinion.
I fully understand both sides of the argument, but at the end of the day it comes down to personal preference, although I'm not keen on all the posthumous releases, much like the Tupac releases I imagine. |

I don't want to take anything away from any of these two artists, they were both great. I just prefer Tupac. |
Biggie was so sick with his flow and he will always be one of the best. For me being a poet I'll have to say Pac. Biggie always made me want to dance and chill with my peoplesz and have a good time. But Pac brought me to a whole nother place. Songs like Keep ya Head up and Brenda's got a baby. True poetry!!!!
