Thats funny...thats silly..oh me..and my paranoia...

[MERIT] 12-27-2006 05:20 PM

Biggie had better flow and better lyrics, hands down.

ryder 12-27-2006 08:05 PM

Both are great but i'll take Pac hands down.

IBelieveInLifeAfterLove 12-27-2006 11:59 PM

He's just got ridiculous talent -- not to say that Pac doesn't -- but I just like Biggie's stuff more.

 2pac iz da BOMB man.....he is the greatest of all RIP.

hajime 01-05-2007 09:38 PM

I like them both, but I'm in favor of Biggie. Like others before me said, I like his flow better than pac and to be honest, his voice.

2-Real 01-06-2007 09:11 PM

I will have to ride with my all time favorite TUPAC the guy just literally drowned biggie out for the South and the West I mean if you werent from the east coast Pac was wat you were bumpin and Even cats on the East were bumpin him he was the best when he was livin and still is one of the greatest if the not the greatest rapper to this date

compl3x 01-27-2007 09:57 AM

'Pac, but biggie had greater flow imo.

Moon Pix 01-27-2007 11:08 AM

Id say 2Pac but Im no big expert or big fan. Me Against the World is a great, sensitive record and I think its a shame that the way he's been portrayed since his death tends to focus on the thug s*** exclusively. Id say the guy was a big heart really.:)

TheUsedToolguy 02-18-2007 01:02 PM

I like both, but I'd go 2pac who put out way more CD's
What did Biggie hav, 3? Ready to Die was awesome, but if u go by content of their lyrics then 2pac was definitely the smarter guy, w/ lots of worldy concern.

Sparky 02-18-2007 01:19 PM

biggie hands down for me. Pacs lyrics were too much of the average "east side vs west side" stuff i had heard of plenty. And mabey its just because im sick of seeing 12 year old white kids with tupac shirts.

Biggie managed to incorporate a little better story element in his music, and he was just a better lyricists then tupac.

Pac hands down. i agree that Biggie was the better storyteller and i like those kind of tracks but lyricaly 2Pac IMO. he could also tell a good story in some of his tracks.

Sparky 03-07-2007 04:14 PM

so? thats just because its cool to like him. T-shirts and merchandise with his face on it sell out. Heard the new track "pacs life" with t.i and ashanti? that was just to get in on the success.
Just because he was in the top ten doesn't make him special, Smells like teen spirit has been a hit since it was the early 90's are you gonna say nirvana is the best?
I wish more modern hip-hop fans would try going farther back then tupac

tlucky 03-07-2007 04:17 PM

Tupac V Biggie

You all are to young to even know what your talking about.

Tupac has been in the top 10 for the past 10 years.

Ever heard the qoute "be the best living or dead"[/QUOTE]

littledude 03-07-2007 04:33 PM

biggie made classics...tupac made some classics but the rest was album fillers.

Kurt_Cobain 03-07-2007 04:37 PM

Tupac was amazing. His rapping was clear, direct, and honest. He used lyrics that inspired, and used the most simple beats and music sometimes. He was no angel, but when he rapped it was like he was preaching. I miss him.

Sparky 03-07-2007 04:41 PM

he was also the only gangster rapper i heard of who took balle(dont know how to spell it) in highschool

TheUsedToolguy 03-07-2007 05:07 PM

What you seem to be forgetting about 2pac is that when he came in the game, he talked about politics and society. Unfortunately, he became paranoid in his later raps, and used them to lash at, in what you would refer to as *gangsta rap*. Heck, I'd probably be paranoid to if there was a price on my head, and I'd already been shot in the head.

Kurt_Cobain 03-07-2007 05:17 PM

What's that gotta do with is rapping skills. And I take it you're referring to 'Only god can judge me' which was allot more 'f*ck you all* than *run and hide*
Oh and 'Changes' was relased after he died, not exactly lashing out ;)

Sparky 03-07-2007 05:56 PM

50 cent got shot at more then tupac is he a better rapper then tutg?

If you knew a lot about 2pac, you'd know that his whole beef with biggie rooted from the first time he got shot in the head outside a recording studio, when he was laying on the ground bleeding, one of the guys trying to help him was in Biggie's posse. 2pac was in a confused state, ya know, just being shot in the head, and immediately placed the blame on Biggie, and so thereafter he was paranoid that Biggie was trying to kill him, and obviously you can hear that in his later raps, and it explains his entire beef w/ him, whether it was justified or not.

Uh, no, I actually like 2pac's earlier stuff better, like 2pocalypse now, and his later stuff can be good when you're in a pissed off mood.

DCougar99 03-08-2007 10:48 AM

both guys are talented... I think Biggie benefited from better production, though. You listen to his albums now, and they still sound new, whereas you listen to a lot of 2pac's stuff, and the beats sound very '90s. that said, I tend to prefer tupac, partly 'cause I'm from the west coast and so I grew up with his sound, but also because he seemed to have a bit more optimism in certain areas, and was open about his conflict over the violence he enacted.

Immortal Wombat 03-09-2007 08:05 AM

Do people not get sick of this debte its been going on too long

Jaygo3000 03-20-2007 01:22 PM

Tupacs delivery is far to laboured the whole thing is brought out in the production. which was all gloss anyhow

Voodoo Chile 03-25-2007 04:09 PM

They were both brilliant and very respectable, but I've personally always preferred 2Pac's material.

kevinpunx 03-27-2007 07:21 PM

2pac is more better

j.Schaef 03-27-2007 08:40 PM

Going to have to go with Tupac on this one.

boo boo 03-27-2007 11:57 PM

Man, 2Pac is raping this poll, tis a shame, because Biggie > 2pac, IMO.

One of my cats looks exactly like Biggie btw.

TheBig3 03-28-2007 06:48 AM

Man does this take me back to 1996. Hooray 7th grade!

And yes, biggie > tupac.

KonC3pT 03-29-2007 10:31 PM

too close to say but pac def. kilt him in the lyrics, but both held each other down on the coasts.

Kimbab84 04-26-2007 08:55 AM

Hard to say... but i have to go with Biggie > Pac..

come on eileen 05-04-2007 05:05 PM

2pac...for sure

Canis Da Beast 05-06-2007 05:20 AM

BIG and Pac were totally different kinds of Emcee..

..Pac was adept to making social commentaries, and speaking out for what he believed etc...BIG was, in his day, original in the term of his playa/cool cat attitude who would also split your melon if he had to..

It is hard to say the ''better'' emcee of teh two. All we can do is offer our preferences. Both were/are legends are will be missed.

Nirvana594 05-26-2007 01:59 PM

Pac has sold more records, and is the best poet rap has ever seen

ryder 05-29-2007 04:30 AM

Pac. not because record sells. that dont mean nothing. both were great anyways but i liked Pac better.

DeviousMc 05-30-2007 05:17 AM

Both of them are legnds with both unique styles but i prefer 2pac.
