Immortal Technique
 

Are you looking for some good rap/hiphop? Are you tired of cliche rappers who indulge in their own wealth? I recommend the latino rapper, Immortal Technique, a lyrically versatile rapper who brings a lot to the table, including street politics and relevant global issues. His flows/voice reminds me of a mix between Nas- Tech n9ne- and Sage Francis. If you're curious, go grab Revolutionary Vol's 1 or 2. I PROMISE you that you won't be disappointed.

Well then you need to, because he's a little bit special. The guy is a genius on the mic, personally i think he's one of the easiest rappers out there to listen to but at the same time one of if not the most engaging due to his harsh social commentary and such. A few songs would recommend:

1. Bin Laden
2. Obnoxious
3. Dance With The Devil (Talk about raw!!)
4. Industrial Revolution
5. You Never Know

I also have this radio interview where he freestyles for about 5 minutes....it's brilliant and at some times hilarious :) Ciao!

His work is amazing, but it's the kind of stuff you can't always listen to because it's so hard and brutal. For example, I listened to Dance with the Devil for the first time several weeks ago, but I can't bring myself to listent to it again for enjoyment, it's so depressing and horrifying. My fav song right now is Point of no Return.

Yeah that's true...his lyrics are harsh so it's hard to listen to when your trying to have a good time, partyin and ****...but if your jus chillin in your room or ridin around in your car, or if ur havin a bad day it's good. Point of no return is amazing, and I agree that it's probably his best song, not Dance with the Devil, but dance with the devil is an amazing story-telling song...

i Think he is the best underground rapper he has some really good songs that get you think unlike the mainstream stuff

it just gets yo into it the beat gets you to listen to it more and more but his other good song is bin laden

for some reason i don't wanna like him as much as i do, i had heard his songs before and they were okay, but then i listened to them again, and he blew me away!!

Immortal Technique is so dope... listen to him and then listen to a 50 Cent/Mike Jones/Nelly/ etc and you'll see the difference between em.

I love Immortal Technique.
I think that there is no denying he is one of the best rappers out there.
His flow is amazing, and most of his songs sound as if he is freestyling them.
My favorite song right now is The Prophecy
I like Dance With The Devil and Jedi Mind Tricks as well.
He is amazing and if you havent listened to his you are doing a crime to your ears.

When JMT and Immortal collaborated on that one song, I was crying.

I like his beats and rymes and his general message but his politics are still pretty backwards. Apparently he showed up to a zapatista benifit in a limo and refused toi go on stage untill he got payed, lame. I'd much rather listen to sage francis me thinks.

I found some stuff, only listened to a coupel so far, was only s-os- impressed but I've been really hooekd on Afu-Ra lately, myself anyone heard of him at all?

One of my friend was talking about him and his lyrics how its all so hard core and raw i didnt believ him until i actully listen to a tape of him i gotta say his flow and style is one of a kind so is his lyrics but hes not my style but i can respect hes a good mc..
