Nas - Illmatic is the greatest rap album of all time.

I downloaded it yesterday and played it earlier. I am seriously missing something here. It bored me :(

It bored me the first time too. Give it time.

Out of all the musicians on my Christmas list, his has the most albums I want. All of em but Nastradamus.

I agree Jackhammer, also consider it might not exactly be relatable to you.

Eh, now his checks are signed by Jay Z. Nas is the prototype for the word sellout. C'mon how do you crush that man on Ether and now he's signing your paycheck. Remember what Suge said about a paycheck. Its just someone paying you to stay in check. I lost a lot of respect for Nas with that move.

Anyway I Am was a great album. Def my favorite Nas album.

But then again, Suge's out of his ****in mind.

Nas is without a doubt one of the greatest rappers out there, songs like Rewind, Hero, and Hate Me Now are genius.

think about it though. Suge's statement is absoutely true. When you are on the clock you let people get away stuff that you would never allow on your own time. You are getting paid to act a certain way and talk a certain way. We get paid to stay in check while we do our job. Its true.

Hello, how are you? 12-10-2008 09:44 PM

Yeah, it's quite bad. Hip Hop is Dead, I thought, was actually good. Untitled however is my worst album of 2008.

So because Nas patched things up with Jay Z, he's a sellout? So what if he's signed to his label; if he doesn't like it, quiting's an option?
