Default Horrorcore

Anyone like it? i know people automatically think "ICP" and disassociate from it, but there is also Esham, King Gordy, Three 6 Mafia, Brotha Lynch Hung. or "shock rap" like Eminem or Bizarre. I don't keep up with new stuff much, so any suggestions?

If you're not a fan, don't reply.

No. Wikipedia did. I'm not trying to argue "genre classification". I just meant darker or crazier stuff than "typical" rap.

Neither of those are really that dark.. if you want that you should check out Immortal Technique.

I like some of his stuff, but I was more into Esham, Natas and King Gordy than the political stuff. sh!t that fvcks around with metal themes, almost like horror devil sh!t. I've only listened to a small bit of Three 6 and only added them to make the list a bit longer. Despite the fact they suck as rappers, I'm more into the content and humor of the ICP stuff.

Yea, ICP is pretty much trash. I'm talking along the lines of content, Jedi Mind Tricks are pretty rough, as well.

Once again, I'm not looking for political rap, though. ICP may be trash talent, but I'm more into that type of content than politics when it comes to rap music. Rap with somewhat"metal" themes. Or stuff like Tech N9ne or Necro that has that vibe to it

horrorcore is a variant of speedcore, it has nothing to do with hip -hop

disregard wikipedia's "facts"

An informed thread on the subject of horrorcore? Well, I'll be blown. Hell really must have frozen over.

Horrorcore is almost as popular as nu-metal on this forum. I have a few albums, though I wouldn't by any means call myself a fan:

Tech N9ne - Anghellic
Necro - Gory Days

Anything you would recommend from this genre?

I just know I'd rather scoop my own eyes out with a teaspoon that listen to Soulja Boy and I don't agree with the politics of a lot of the political stuff. The "crazy" stuff is the rap I most get into.
