This was released for free, so I'll post the link at the end of the review.

All in all, this is one of my favorite mixtapes from 2008. KiD CuDi was introduced to me while listening to a mixtape (I believe it was DJ E-V's "I Run Ohio") and I've been hooked to his music since. He's had a hit come out called Day N Nite and it has gotten him some notoriety with a lot of people on the web and in the industry (KanYe West signed him to his label G.O.O.D. Music).

The album starts out strong with a nice intro and the track "Down & Out". There isn't really much to say about this, except that I would pay full CD price for this mixtape, if possible. I love just about everything about it. Just listen to it.

9/10

mc chris is dead
By
mc chris

I'm a fan of all five of Chris's albums, but hs latest release is by far his best. It's upbeat, cathcy, witty, and produced to a tee.
The album starts out with the title track. It sets the mood for the entire album. Mostly about lost love, and not being famous. Older Crowd is an amazing track. I love the techno aspect, and the remix factor. The nest two tracks Reese and Pizza butt, are the worst on the album, they're not that bad, but don't compare to the amazing last half of this album. Hoodie Ninja is just a fun track it really doesn't have much meaning, but it's great to just go crazy too. mc chris always includes a few skits, and this next one Metaphor, is by far his best, it's hilarious, and satires everything chris has done. Honestly though, on* is a terrible, terrible track. I always skip it, because it bores the sh*t out of me. Kill It kind of goes back to his older songs from Lifes A Bitch and I'm Her Pimp, that almost sound like a freestyle, and have an actual chorus. It's kind of boring though honestly. Now this is where the album gets really good. Maybe I'm just a sucker for sappy love songs with 5th grade level ryhme, but Rollercoaster always gets me tapping my feet, and occasionaly singing along. I still don't know ho wi feel about nrrrd grrrl. Sometimes I really love it, and sometimes it's really boring. That's my one problem with mc chris(who's one of my favorite rappers by the way), a lot of his songs are boring, and eve more are those occasionaly boring/annoyig songs like nrrrd grrrl. Really metaphor is the only skit I like by chris, an example of his terrible ones is the next track, magic. It's not as bad as some of his others, but it takes so long to get going that I usually skip it. Falynn is an even sappier love song, but it's so catchy that if you get this album this is probably the song you'll listen to the most. The Masturbation Song, is okay, but it tries too hard to be funny, and ends up ot being as good as other songs on the album. Also, it's another track that takes awhile to get going, which bores me. The best song on the album is asily Freaks, it's one of my favorite rap songs ever actually. I just love everything about. The amusing lyrics, awesome beats, and concept that is really relatable. The album comes to a cose with Never give Up with Andrew W. K. It's a good end to the album, and an underrated song by him, also probably W.K.'s best work.
Overall, I really really love this album even if it has a few filler tracks it still continues to impress me everytime I hear it.
9.5/10

I completely forgot about this thread.

Expect me to start reviewing more, as I am out of school/have free time/bored.

I actually really dislike Spankrock. I don't get all the love he gets.
