Eminem was great before he started taking himself seriously. Even now, when he does goofy videos, that's all they are. Goofy songs with goofy videos. There's just nothing intriguing or sharp about his music anymore.

^ it seems the more his life is in the media the worse/unbearable his songs get.
I was listening to the radio adn they were talking about how he divorced Kim. Again. and then they played Superman.
I almost gagged

Eminem was good when he was young and had something to prove. Then he started trying to put over newer artists, inevitably inherited 50's beef with Ja Rule and Murder Inc, and started sucking when his raps became more politically minded, rather than by falling back on his more shock value raps like in his early EP/LP's.

the 50 cent and ja rule thing was a waste of time.

how popular are murder inc artists? when was the last time anyone released something off that label.

I doubt that contributed anything to Em's poor raps as of late

They actually changed the name of it to "The Inc." now. I think it may have lil Kim.

A name change is was rather unnecessary.
But anyway, no label can honestly say they've put out a decent worthwhile album within the past three years.
The Exceptions being Nas's new album due to be released sometime soon, Jay - Z's album, and that's about it.

If you say anything abuot the Game, it means that your standards have gone down.

Jay-Z's album is not that good. Its getting overhyped IMO.

If there is nothing else to listen to, I will listen to Eminem. I don't mind him, but I also don't think that he's that good. I'm indifferent to Eminem. Lyrics are usually bad, but the beats are decent.
