Clay Aiken Is A Terrorist 01-20-2005 12:31 PM

man raekwon and ghostface are the two best rappers in the game right now, they should be at the top of everyones list. only prob is that pretty toney and lex diamond story both sucked.

i need to buy the new wu tang greatest hits cd

i used to have the wu chronicles

hookers with machineguns 01-22-2005 11:12 PM

you need to grab enter the 36 chambers and solo releases from ghostface, raekwon, odb, rza and gza. i'd say your rap collection would be half complete.

Wu-tang Forever

Its time for another Wu-Tang thread. Who do you like, who don't you like, and is Raekwon's Only Built for Cuban Lynx Pt. II EVER going to be released?

Soundgardener 06-16-2005 09:31 AM

Gza, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah have great solo music. Every track off Gza's Legend of the Liquid Sword is phenomenal.

Fenixpunk 06-16-2005 09:38 AM

i liked ODB, one of the grittiest rappers ive heard. Inspectah Deck and Method Man are ok in my book as well.

hookers with machineguns 06-16-2005 09:41 AM

I don't know when Cuban Linx 2 is actually supposed to be dropped, I found a 'tentative' track listing

Quote:

1. Still Striving (intro)
2. Mudd Time (Heatmakerz)
3. Criminology Rap (Rza) f/Ghostface
4. Stitches (Rza)
5. Blood On Chef's Apron (Rza) f/Ghostface & Masta Killa
6. In (MF Doom)
7. Geometry (Math) (Alchemist)
8. Farewell (skit)
9. Wu York Post (True Master) f/Ghostface, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna & Masta Killa
10. A Junkies Wife (Rza)
11. No love (skit)
12. Heart Attack (Mizza)
13. Just Enough (9th Wonder)
14. Bam Blam (Havoc) f/Busta Rhymes
15. Corny Ni**as (skit)
16. Lex & Rae f/Inspecta Deck
17. Skeletor (Alchemist) f/Ghostface
18. Before The Future (Crummie)
19. Knowledge God (reissue) (Rza)
20. IceVille (True Master) f/Ice Water Inc
21. Stitches Pt. 2 (Rza) f/Method Man & StreetLife
22. On My Way Back (Heatmakerz) f/Jagged Edge
23. Blood On Chef's Apron (outro)
It's kinda hard to believe that he's working with this many producers. All he really needs is Rza, and Ghostface dropping a verse on each track.

Legend of the Liquid Sword, Supreme Clientele, Enter the 36 Chambers, and the original Cuban Linx has been in heavy rotation in my CD player for years.

a quick question on a semi-related note:

why do most rap albums insist on having "skits"?

hookers with machineguns 06-16-2005 09:46 AM

It's okay when Rae does it. The Wu Tang skits are always funny.

Ante_Up 06-25-2005 09:11 PM

i heard a few tracks thats supposed to be on Only Built II,,,both sounded pretty gritty...
Rae is also supposed to be dropping a mixtape with Ill Bill called "Weed vs. Cocaine"

ghost is releasing an album with MF Doom

Method Man is also woprking on a new album that is all supposed to be produced by RZA
