Are there artists like that that do? Iv have only ever heard of about 3 bands going over there, and they were all pretty famous.

I saw a lot of bands pass through. Most were either unknown or the kind you'd rather not know. The biggest we had when during the year I was there was Drowning Pool (with the not dead singer...)
It was even worse during my year in Kuwait. We even had horrible comedians pass through, none of which were well known. Vince Vaughn was the biggest star to pass through during my year there, and of course, I missed it.

Oh yea... and Toby Keith.

Thats a bummer. I also saw drowning pool this summer (only because they were at a festival) and I thought t was terrible. The only good thing they did was start to play a few songs off Cowboys From Hell, then stop about a minute in while everyone boooooooed. I know 3 doors down at least used to whore them selves out to the Army, or at least just the National Guard.
