Have you heard the two singles for Tha Carter IV so far?
Raw rap, not "commercial" or "mainstream".
You may say he's "commercial" because of the hundreds of Feats he does, thats him getting paid and achieving commercial success.

I have heard countless Lil Wayne songs over the years. Everyone plays his albums and mixtapes almost constantly. Half of his songs go by in a blur of mediocrity. So I don't really have any desire to go into an extensive study of all of his music. Even at his best he's still no 2Pac.

What are you talking about? He raps about the same things everyone else does. Bitches, money, weed, haters, and "coming up". He's a talented rapper who just doesn't live up to his potential. Only the badwagon hoppers think he's the best rapper alive.

Drop The World, Paradice, Runnin, Love Me Or Hate Me etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

just a few examples of him not "rapping about bitches" and so on.

Off "Tha Carter IV"... and I already know about at least three more songs like it on the album.

I doubt a "bandwagon hopper" would be listening to him since they started listening to music.

Like I said. He's not untalented. But he bows to commercialism to sell records. A few good songs doesn't change that.

Dude, after "Lollypop", why should I even have to justify calling him commercial?
