Expiremental hip-hop outfit made some great albums already, and I have no idea why you hate them already.

Well hating on the new thing has always been kind of trendy.

I guess being trendy doesn't always mean being wrong.

i guess dismissing those who disagree with you as trendy is a pointless accusation then

Tbh I just kind of associate DG hating with djchameleon (older member, idk if you crossed paths with him), who always just wanted to be a contrarian. I guess it just stuck.

i remember him vaguely

i said in one of my threads that i was going to try to stop focusing on artists i dislike so i regret being a part of this discussion

but i don't dislike them to be contrary

i dislike them because their rapper sounds like he has downs syndrome to me

i actually do like the production. if they release a instrumental version i might download it.

Fair enough, I feel like Ride's emceeing appeals more to metal oriented listeners than hip hop oriented (though there's certainly people in the latter group who like DG). Might be why you're not as into them since I think I remember you saying you're not all that into metal.

Also, DG dropped an instrumental album called Fashion Week that you might dig.

EDIT: rereading this thread, my comment makes sense with Micco's comment. Sounded like he disliked Death Grips without even listening to them.
