Nah, the pro-Death Grippers are simply in mourning/shock.

I was under the impression that we were all just too busy furiously pleasuring ourselves listening to NOTM over and over again in an attempt to escape from the harsh reality of it all.

Rather listen to their first two in all honesty.

Too bad to see them go, but I'm on the same page as Mankycaant thinking this is a publicity stunt. Hopefully when they release the second part of Powers That B it'll be a stronger note to end on than the first (Government Plates would have been a great stopping off point imo).

On another note, I wish I cared enough about bands I don't like to post about how little I care that they broke up like the lot of you have. Good thing they won't be releasing any more albums that you guys won't be listening to amirite?

I like them a lot but I don't even care. Lets say this is it, they will continue to make other music and whatever. There's already too much music for me to consume so another band dying out isn't really a bad thing.

Hopefully Zach Hill goes more in the direction of Hella and his solo material, I prefer that sound to that of Death Grips.

Even if you dislike Death Grips you have to accept they've been one of the most original acts of recent years and then death of originality is always a bad thing even if it isn't aurally pleasing.

Digging the new DG single sounds a bit more like Exmilitary to me.

EDIT: I just got it and it's awesome.

Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it, but wasn't really crazy about the new instrumentals. However, this Space Jam remix is perfect. Wish it were longer!

Sign me up for the "Death Grips is awesome" club. I've only heard Exmilitary, The Money Store, and Government Plates as of yet but really like them all.

If that's not a thing then it should be. Also check out Niggas On The Moon it's one of my favorites behind Exmilitary. NO LOVE DEEP WEB is pretty good too.

Alright let me put it this way NO LOVE is their weakest effort, but it's not a bad album by any means.

It's okay, I believe you. No Love had a long lasting appeal, but it fizzled after Government Plates and NOTM. Definitely has some great songs though.

I love Fashion week but im sad MC Ride hasnt spit on any of the beats. So good..

Government Plates and NOTM are ace, the former being my favorite from them. I love that sound.
