There's a world of braggadocious hip hop out there that's better than Kanye though.

I like a lot of the punch lines he puts in there as well. I also like how he can perfectly portray an emotion that contradicts what he's saying as he's saying it. I like a lot of the messages he tries to convey through his lyrics.
That I can respect, even though I disagree with all of those points except for the punchline bit because he does have a couple of alright ones.

I like the way Kanye does it. There are tons of braggadocious rappers that really just bore the **** out of me. Kanye's bragging is entertaining.

The only Kanye song with decent lyrics is "Roses".

If Desiigner was doing it people would still listen because they can't understand what he says majority of the time.

Also that is such an extreme example. People listen to rappers brag about cooking coke in the kitchen, busting a nut on a girls back and other stupid **** with no qualms.

That's stupid to you. Dude thinks busting a nut on a girl's back is stupid. Pfff.

Lemme guess, you prefer rappers that rap about getting nuts busted on their backs? I mean, I think King Gordy has said something about Jesus Christ doing that to him.

The reference I was making was to ****ing Soulja Boy. That's what his hit song was about. So it wasn't so much the content but the popularity of Soulja Boi himself and what he ended up having a catchy hook about.

One thing about Soulja Boi is, where the **** is he? Has anybody heard any other song by him? Do people still even listen Crank That? I know people still bump Stronger. All the ****ing time. My point made. **** artists like Soulja Boi fade with time while the greats like Kanye thrive.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 12-03-2016 06:47 PM

soulja boy had multiple hits and will never fade
