I doubt you’re combing through the releases in my free jazz thread

Time is limited

 We're not listening to Swan's last 3 albums back to back. So yes time may be limited but I think we owe ourselves a 22 minute rap album. It's pretty good. And his next project with Cudi in a few days will hopefully make it a somewhat full project.

I like a lot of it, but it feels unfinished and rushed out.

it’s alright, nothing too great. after TLOP ive just come to accept we experienced peak Ye when he releases Yeezus and for some reason he doesn’t want to continue in that direction.

i feel like every song on his last few projects is him trying to redeem or explain himself and it just gets tedious at some point. full crazy ego driven kanye is what we need though.

He peaked with his first single.

I still remember when I first heard Through The Wire, on MTV Base in 2003.

It was emotional.

nah

old school kanye west was quite good but it wasn’t really anything unique outside of him having a very good ear for sampling. he came into his own on MBDTF and Yeezus.

I saw Kanye in concert in 2014 during the time he was wearing that mask with jewels on it and shit. Can anyone else say that?

His first single is actually the best thing he's done though.

Kanye's first two records are classic, anyone who doesn't know that is retarded. But I agree MBDTF and Yeezus are groundbreaking. Especially MBDTF.

Cuthbert 06-02-2018 03:46 PM

Neither of them are ground-breaking especially MBDTF.
