Lord Jamar follows me on Twitter lol
Completely forgot about that. |
I knew this thread would turn into black vs white bs.
LOL, this is silly, whites are responsible for more hip-hop sales than nonwhites. So we might be so called "guests" in terms of participation, but my $ supports this art form, so guest or not we are VIP, foh if you disagree. |

Stumbled across this footage but Paul Mooney always comes off as racist to me so it doesn't surprise me that he would say this. |
I honestly can't stand people like Lord Jamar. I like to refer to him as a culturalist, which is basically someone who feels that people within a culture have to conform to certain arbitrary rules and behaviors that are deemed "appropriate" for belonging to that culture, and that culture is hip hop, in this case.
Jamar has done this twice now. First it was gender policing Kanye for daring to wear a skirt during a live show, and now he wants to be racist by telling non-blacks to stay out of rap. Who does he think he is? |
@Forward To Death
again "pardon my laughing I happen to think you're sweet" If you can't figure out what that simple line means then you're clearly not a rap fan & you don't belong in this thread / |

I'm glad you've rediscovered the ability to type like a normal human being, please keep it that way so I can avoid future headaches. Quote:

what mooney doesnt realize is that ppl like him hurt black ppl
so do whites who have a lot of white guilt and ppl with herm's mindset of 'appropriating culture.' mooney doesnt want whites to 'act black.' to him, acting black is wearin gaudy jewelry, speakin with poor english, pants saggin, etc. 'acting black' shouldnt be that. if you want to claim a type of behavior as your own, claim one that doesnt make you look like a thug |
