What Surrel said. Basically, Wilson's therapist thought that a lot of people weren't quite sure of how white Wilson was. Taking this as an ulterior motive, he thought that it might be helpful for Wilson to revisit his old material and construct it in a different way like these crazy kids are doing. He theorized that good rhymes are likely bad for the psyche and instructed Wilson to do what's best for his mental health.
