I really dislike bands like Streetlight or RBF. I think their brand of music does contribute to the overall half-the-true-story image of ska (talked about in the Hate for Ska thread). I think right now The Slackers are one of the best things going in terms of the easily accessible (also Dave Hillyard's stuff is pretty damn good). Over time, no one beats the Skatalites. End of story.

It is? The only person who bashed didn't like it because "it is crappy music". I can never figure out a specific reason why people hate the genre.
