Bob is the god of reggae no doubt.
How someone can not like reggae is beyond me what's not to like????????

the answer is ****ing obvious bob marley is BIG.....no doubt...well why? because his music is awesome..he's cool...his lyrics are really great...the combination of feelings and words put up a great song..all of his songs are great...Rock on with Bob Marley...

Its Such a strange comparison though. Their styles are so different from each other. Bob marley is pretty straightforward rock-steady/reggae (ska as well if you want to get into the older material with Peter and Bunny), while Jimmy Cliff almost borders on Motown (which was a strong influence on reggae, but still...) Both are quite wonderful in their own right. I'd hate to choose.

"Redemption Song" says it all. I mean I've heard so many variations of it but Bob Marley obviously does the best one, no doubt he's the king of reggae.

Funny thing about Bob Marley, apparenty he beat his wife! Shocking, no?

But, I will say that I do love him. He's amazing no doubt.
