We went back there and they had come and hacked off every inoculated arm. There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Isis are pretty damn good in the low-end spectrum. More accessible than Boris etc. too.

Not saying that Boris, Khanate et al aren't great though.

If you love rock music you gotta own, Blues for the Red Sun. Sky Valley is great, but the 2nd suite runs too long and is repetitive, forshadowing their rapid decline in their final recording, And the Circus Leaves Town, which absolutely stinks. Alot of people dump on Wretched. Yes it's a poor recording and very thrashy, but it's alot more entertaining and energetic than Circus.

Are you for serious? Second suite is by far the best one on Sky Valley... Space Cadet and Demon Cleaner are so the best songs on that album.

Actually, I was specifically thinking of Space Cadet. I don't understand how you can say it's far better than Odyssey/Conan/Troutman/N.O./Whitewater, probably the best think they ever did.
