I actualy like Corgans vocals, it compliments the music perfectly IMO, hes part of what makes them The Pumpkins, they just wouldnt have been as good if someone like Ronnie James Dio was their vocalist.

Haven't we already had this conversation? I'll definitely accept that I'm much more unforgiving of flawed singing/guitar playing/bass lines than most people.

What I'm saying is that, in a theoretical situation, I wouldn't select him, based on his vocals, from a group of five singers who auditioned for a band. He can be in your band.

We did. Page 3 (ooh, I say) of this thread.

What does everybody else think? Who likes Corgan's voice and who doesn't? For what reasons?

As for TSI that album was just a fun album the band did to cover songs that influenced them. As for their live shows with BH were awful that is just your opinion and most people would disagree. Since most of the shows got great reviews and the people that went to them most liked the show save the people that cannot deal with slash quitting the band. Most reviews even the loder review said if you closed your eyes you wouldnt even know it was a different version of guns n roses playing up there.

The new gnr songs like IRS and madagascar are by far better than anything on the radio right now.
this man was very interesting wasn't he...he stayed only long enough to have arguments with everyone here about how g'n'r were the biggest band in the world, i don't think he made a single post that wasn't related to g'n'r....very interesting indeed...

The first band I thought of when I saw this thread, was pearl jam. I've always admired this band. So much talent. So much respect from EDGE.
