Alright well why, becuase at first glance it doesn't at all. I can think of more things that tie Iggy to hippies then I can Frank or any of the pistols.

I don't think any band in particular ended the Hippie movement.
More the fact that they themselves moved on and got themselves a life.

If I was forced for an answer then I'd say Heavy Metal in general.
