I have come to the scientific conclusion that Maiden and Metallica are pretty equal bands, that is until Metallica turned rubbish and Maiden carried on pumping out good music. Therefore Maiden win by default.

Ooo....i dont know...Kirk was a fairly cool guitarist....but im truly just not a huge fan of James....I guess he voice just never grew on me

I wouldn't say by default. Even though I'm not their biggest fan, for the best part of 15 years Metallica were amazing at what they did. Ya can't default them on St Anger. I'd call them equal.
