Although I'm not a big fan of this genre, their Song "Saturn's Children" is one of the most captivating songs I'm aware of...

From what I hear they're just sort of misanthropic and don't like touring, which is why they don't get around much.

I'll just put this here... something I whipped up in honor of their greatness.

I'm looking forward to hearing how the new album sounds with original drummer Mark Greening back in the band. Maybe a bit of old-school Electric Wizard mixed with something new.

Just got the Legalise Drugs and Murder EP yesterday. Pretty good stuff, which feels like outtakes from Witchcult Today.

They issued that cassette exclusively with Terrorizer magazine and it sold pretty fast! Luckily I managed to get one. Possibly the very last one, as I got a return.

Mark Greening can only help Electric Wizard, I feel. As a live band certainly, but of course it's all down to the material they have in the tank. If it's not up top scratch he's not exactly a miracle worker.

A friend of mine was in a band with Mark Greening, called 11 Paranoias, before he went back to Wizard. And I agree with him - he makes all those songs he didn't play on sound heavier.

Reading that interview I posted, it seems like the rest of the band is pretty hyped too. Having a real musical connection is something rare, can't let it die. I think we're gonna see an album that isn't quite a return to earlier EW style-wise, as they have always evolved, but a return to the enthusiasm you usually only get to enjoy with a band's debut.
