Ringo wasn't fantastic or anything, his drumming complemented the band and especially Paul's bass well. Plus, you try to find me an autistic child who can drum that well.

Too bad he doesn't play with them anymore. Probably due to Cedric and Omar being pricks.

How is Ringo obvious? Anyways, risky choices? Eh...Lars Ulrich? IDK, I just got through reviewing "Beyond Magnetic," so I got Metallica on the brain.

I vote for Casey "The Animal" Grillo of Kamelot.

haha... funny thing is, i happen to know an autistic guy who is way better than ringo. his name is andrew, he's from stratford ON, and can play a wide assortment of beatles covers. he's the go-to guy for all the open jams there, and he grooves like a motherf*cker.

That's pretty cool. Does he have savant syndrome or is he just good at the drums among other things?

he's no savant... he's just really good at anything he puts his mind to. he understands that he can do anything if he practices enough. he's also quite good at hockey and basketball. plays a little bass too.

benny greb. i don't know how i didn't hear of this guy before last month, but he's top notch. he's got it all. he does jazz, funk, fusion, drum&bass, rock, and as seen here, can play a snare drum in the fashion of carnatic drumming... which i've never even heard of happening before. mad props to this guy... may very well be my new favourite drummer.

Yes, there are particular tracks, but I cannot remember which ones as I haven't heard the album in a while. There was a spell about ten years ago when I played Abbey Road twice a day (to and from work) for about a year. However, it did strike me that his playing was inventive throughout.
