They clearly don't suck. At all. In any capacity.

Why haven't people stopped giving a frock about how other people talk about a band? Most of you don't let other's negative opinions about a band influence you, why do their positive ones?

Well, when a band is supposedly The Greatest Band Ever In The History Of Anything but are in fact just mediocre, it's hard to ignore the vast chasm between expectation and reality. It's kind of like going to a five star hotel and finding out the accommodations are more like two star.

I wouldn't call them mediocre. I'd say they were mediocre live performers, and when they were a rock band they were a mediocre rock band. When they became strict studio composers, then they were legends. Albeit, I tend to make this point very very repetitively.

Still though, Apart from the song, Help was a pretty sucky album, and at the end of their pre-Rubber Soul days they did suck pretty badly.

I would call them mediocre. To my ear they have a couple decent songs and that's really it.
