I think Brit Pop finally finished grunge off, but then we got post-grunge bands like Bush who in turn paved the way for crap like Nickelback, Creed etc.

I forgot about our American cousins there, I don`t think Brit-Pop was as dominant in the USA, as it was over here despite the fact that Oasis were pretty huge in the states.

I honestly wouldn't describe them as huge over here. They had a couple of hits, that was about it.
