i don't think blink 182 is a good band but in my opinion Cannibal Corpse is way worse

I'd always choose Cannibal Corpse over Blink 187. I'd even choose Avril Lavigne over them

They`re probably one of the best bands to have come out of the UK in the 1990`s highlighted by their classic debut album, personally I love them with their trashy 70`s glam and even punk inspired style of rock tinged with metal and they`re also kind of unique especially with Molko`s highly distinctive voice, the drumming on their first album, kind of reminds me of the great drumming from the classic era of the Smashing Pumpkins as well.

I'm with you...Placebo kick ass. Though their recent albums have been a bit "meh"...their output from their s/t to Sleeping With Ghosts is pure gold. I can't believe someone wouldn't be able to find some enjoyment in their music.

With you on George Thorogood. Never really was a big fan of his music, but after seeing him in some interviews and once on a game show, I've come to the conclusion that he's a big know-it-all jerk. Which wouldn't be so bad, except that to me his music accentuates that persona of him that's stuck in my head. So yeah...he fails in my book.
