Wow, I did some extra research online and you're right. I wonder why a lot of places still say that they are a metal band? A band should be classified as it wants to be classified even if others may have a different idea of things.

Really? I have always considered Motorhead as a Rock N Roll band just the same as AC/DC or Ramones.

I do find it odd that the actual singer and mainstay of the band states that they are not a Metal band but we can all decide otherwise.

Nobody argues the fact that AC/DC are not Metal in these arguments yet they share many traits with Motorhead.

Just because Motorhead have long hair and distorted riffs doesn't mean that they are metal to me at all.
