Well personally, I like them, but if I were to look for some really awesome unbelievably kick-you-in-the-balls-with-spiked-shin-guards, it wouldn't be Dimmu. I'd be looking for Immortal, Emperor, Darkthrone, or Venom (different wave of black metal but still black metal nonetheless).

Some people just have higher standards for the music they listen to.

You need educating then! Most are not particulary underground bands. Type in the bands name into youtube and go from there.
