Have you heard their cover of Rasputin? It is so good, and lulzworthy.

But yep when you listen to metal long enough, even minute differences in genres/bands becomes apparent. I stay the **** away from the whole deathcore/metalcore thing though...except to say that breakdowns have been in death metal since day one, and leave it at that.
Deathcore is IMO a non-existent genre. I bands that are considered deathcore are just a bit more melodic than the average metalcore band.

1. Disturbed (Some people call them Hard Rock, but I still think they're metal)
Definitely not metal. Metal is guitar riff based, and simple choppy power chords don't count as riffs.

1. Metallica
2. Iron Maiden
3. Judas Priest
4. Megadeth
5. Dark Tranquillity
6. In Flames
7. Black Sabbath
8. Symphony X
9. Iced Earth
10. Queensryche

Operation Mindcrime-era Queensryche is awesome -actually thats the only album of theirs I listen to. But that album by itself is enough to put them in the top 10 for me.

Isn't that originally a Boney M song?

But seriously, Turisas approaches Dragonforce in level of cheesiness. I mean, they're self described as "battle metal", and they wear this hokey warrior facepaint and take pictures of themselves holding swords and stuff. And I haven't even begun to describe their music. To Holmgard And Beyond...
