I am not the biggest metalhead, but this is as close as I come, so please excuse any glowing omissions / mistakes...

Devin Townsend Band / Strapping Young Lad

Dark Tranquility
Fear Factory
My Dying Bride
Pantera
Sepultura
Metallica (gotta give them credit for their legacy, not their recent output)

I don't think that was even ten, but eh, thats my picks...

Ok, I got one more, very little known but awesome Australian band from way back in the 90's... the were called Alchemist (NOT the hip hop artist but the same name, nothing like it)... I dunno if they're still together not but damn, they were GOOD!

pretty solid list overall.


and yeah, you can count SYL and DTB seperately, they may be similar sounding, but both have their own qualities

oh i'm sorry there, chief. i forgot some people on here are music authorities. as you can tell, i don't listen to much metal but when i do. that's what it is.
