Has anyone heard what their plans are after this next album? After all, it is the "first" entry in their series of albums completing the saga. Even if this album is horrid, I think it is a testament to their creativity to blow through 5 albums all based on one concept and still have it sound awesome. I've loved all 4 of their previous albums (except the latest one...it had some great songs but dragged in the second half, so to me it is just...pretty good).

The new album leaked. I'm listening to it now.
I can't form an opinion on it yet. It's pretty different from the rest of their material.
The production is more rough than the last one.

Possibly because it's a leaked, non-final version?

I have two papers to write and this will be my theme music.

And... holy shit, the intro is creepy and I feel like walking off the chills. [= I'm going to review when I can. ;D

My favorite band.

The story is epic.
Year Of The Black rainbow is all about the events before second stage turbine blade.

If you notice all the albums are a series, they planned to do a prequel with their last album.

That's why it's 2nd stage turbine blade, in keeping secrets of silent earth 3, good apollo I'm burning star IV: volume one, and good apollo I"m burning star IV: volume two.

Year of the black rainbow represents the first year before second stage.

I also wanted to say that I've noticed the people who claim they hate this band (that I've encountered anyway) have only listened to a lot of good apollo or just like two of their singles which end up being a poppy sort of song. ...Or they don't like the singers voice, but I have to say I can't imagine any other voice for these songs, he was meant to sing them.

Coheed is great. they are very tight live, and they put on a good show. My band has a chance to open for them at the Congress Theater in Chicago on May 1st, and we are really exited to have the opportunity to play with such a great band!
