You're allowed. No one will hold it against you. It's not like I'm in the band or anything....
That's what is so fun about discussing music. Perhaps you would like to qualify your annoyance?

Aw, you seam to be very nice
That's the thing, I just cant explain why I don't like them. Maybe it's the singers voice or something, but I dunno, when I hear there songs I have to turn them off, cuz they always seam to give me a headache.

Yeah, the ex-lead singer's voice was pretty unique: he had one of those voices that you either loved, or absolutely hated.
You're not the first person to make such an observation.

I can see how his accent might be slightly obnoxious, but it doesn't bother me. I think Layne Staley was one of the best vocalists of the 90s.

It doesn't matter how great a day I'm having, how fast paced the day is, how great my life is. Nutshell always slows it down and makes me calm. I ****ing love it. One of the greatest songs I've ever heard.

Yeah, I agree. Sap has that effect on me too; that is such a sweet album.

Alice in chains were quite popular before that whole"grunge" movement really took hold of the states....personally i wouldn't classify them as a metal band either.....I think people now are too obsessed with making a new genre labels for every band they hear....its rock and roll..simple as that......so is grunge, emo, punk, whatever you want to call yourselves based on how you or your friends dress ( i don't mean that as a personal attack toward the person i quoted, just generalizing)....it's rock music.

You're right about that: Alice in Chains was popular before the whole "grunge" fad.
