Enough about favourite periods in rock music, what about favourite areas for rock music.

Florida for the win. Many of my favourite bands are from Florida.

Many of mine are from Birmingham, England..........So there.

I love grunge so Seattle. Aswell as England in general because brit-pop is awesome.

Cleveland and NYC are the two areas off the top of my head.

I like the late 60s to late 70s the most (67 to 79). If that timespan was too long and I had to cut down on a bit, I'd start removing years from the late 70s part.

I like some of the psychedelic rock and pop from the 60s and the hard rock, prog, metal and pop from the 70s. You also got good folk rock back then.

I know this post is six years old but I just would like to say: Florida? :laughing:

Anyway, my favorite period for rock would probably be the mid 70s through the 80s. That seems like it's when the genre reached it's peak of diversity and quality before starting to largely recycle itself in the 90s and onward.
