Most posters who say they hate The Beatles end up saying Rush is the best band ever and that they are 40 years old even though their grammar and behavoir suggests they are about 8 or 9.

I did like U2 in the early days until Bono's personality began to irritate me to the point of vomiting.

I agree with most of whats mentioned, but i dont get the U2 hate, their new stuff is nothing great, but it almost seems like their new stuff is all that their detractors are going by...Im even curious as to how much U2 you guys have actualy heard, at least from the one decade when they really mattered, the 80s.

You should at least give War and Joshua Tree a chance, you would be surprised, you might actualy like those albums.

I've heard Joshua Tree....and the thing with 2 bands in particular...Tragically hip, and U2.the lead singers annoy the piss out of me...Vocally wise

the only song i ever really sould stand was sunday bloody sunday, but that ones worn itself out too. i hate lame nostalgia cover bands.. ie. kiss destroyer.
