Answer me this; Who the balls ever said the Chilli peppers were hardcore? And it has to be a credible source because if you were listening to some 2-bit hack then you're just as bad.

Answer me this: I always thought "hardcore" was just a cheesy expression like "cool" or "rad". Does it even have any meaning?

It can be just a cheesy expression, but its a style of music aswel. I wont be able to tell you what kind, someone'll just say its wrong and then some huge debate will start. Ill let someone else fill ya in...

Bring on the debate, I say. I think hardcore isn't a style of music and people who think is it can suck off one another.

Nah that was harsh. But if you ask someone what music do they like and they said "Hardcore" that could be anything, it would be like saying "oh you know, Cool music". People's opinion of hardcore would vary and If you gunna slot every single fuc.king band into the smallest sub-genre you can think of, why not just say punk or metal. Sounds pretty anal to me.
