motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:42 PM

1. you got a motley crue pic of the 80's not 90's or 2000's
2. thats not the same pic of ctts you tried to show me in class

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:43 PM

get a pic of the generation swine tour
or the new tattoo tour
or carnival of sins

bungalow 06-17-2006 09:43 PM

Try and find the CTTS pic we argued about in class.

tdoc210 06-17-2006 09:44 PM

my post had everything to do with everything

no one cares about motley crue you like them yay for you
i like black metal a lot..prob one of my fave genres but i dont go around saying it superior to everyones bands and making false statements

bungalow 06-17-2006 09:46 PM

This is a pointless arguement anyway.
I think that it is pretty obvious to everyone here that Motley Crue dressed up like girls. CTTS doesn't. Motley Crue has sh*t lyrics, CTTS doesn't. These people have brains, you, don't. Sorry.

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:46 PM

i never said mine was better. just that in my opinion it is, and since music is all opinion, so i can think whatever i want.

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:48 PM

alex you have like 2 people backing you up. it's all opinion, so i think ctts has **** lyrics and motley crue doesn't. i saw the pic of ctts were the dude has glitter and lipstick. and you definatley don't know as much as you think you do about music. your own favorite genre maybe, but nothing about mine

bungalow 06-17-2006 09:49 PM

Haha, Okay. You're a f*cking idiot, and you've made that clear to everyone here.

tdoc210 06-17-2006 09:50 PM

i want some CTTS more than motley crue after reading this thread..motley twit all you have done is suceede in bringing up your post count and making evyne hate you

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:51 PM

how am i a ****ing idiot? you haven't proven anything except that you know nothing about my genre and that you haven't even realised music is opinion, so i don't have to have the same opinions you do. and arguing about it gets us nowhere because we have different opinions

swim 06-17-2006 09:53 PM

I already said this earlier today, I don't care if your opinion differs as long as you put common sense behind it.

...CTTS is hot...

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:56 PM

and thats your opinion all fine and dandy, but don't put me down because my opinion is different and i stand up for my opinion. and i really don't care if everyone on this site hates me or not

bungalow 06-17-2006 09:57 PM

They don't hate you, they just think you are stupid, which is a reasonable assumption.

swim 06-17-2006 09:57 PM

We don't hate because your opinion is different. We hate you because you're stupid :)

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 09:59 PM

just like i hate you because of how ignorant you are of a genre you are trying to argue against

boo boo 06-17-2006 10:07 PM

Didn't you call all emo gay crap or something?

Hair metal is hardly a genre, more of a fashion trend, it's basically metal, just dumbed down for people who have a hard time understanding AC/DC's lyrics.

bungalow 06-17-2006 10:07 PM

:)

swim 06-17-2006 10:08 PM

*waits for emo to be called a fashion trend so me and bill can flame motley crue*

boo boo 06-17-2006 10:15 PM

Emo became a fashion trend, it wasn't when it was first conceived.

Thats what seperates emo from hair metal.

swim 06-17-2006 10:16 PM

All scenes become fashion trends. If havent heard me say it before, Scenes kill music. Scenes are the poppy watered down version. Anyone in the emo forum will tell you people who make emo fashion based more than likely listen to fake emo.

bungalow 06-17-2006 10:16 PM

I don't think emo is a fashion trend at all.
Show me a picture of some emo bands, all following this "emo fashion"

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 10:17 PM

Do you?

When were the masses listening prog? Maybe you have a good answer but even so it's just an exception, punk, metal, grunge, and now emo.

Only the pop bands.

boo boo 06-17-2006 10:26 PM

Dammit you got my early edit, i decided to use a Peter Gabriel pic instead, that Wakeman pic appears on here enough already.

Prog is pretty popular, dispite it's complete lack of mainstream success, save bands like The Mars Volta and Tool... Progarchives is a big site which features bios of different bands and feateres a song streamer like Myspace so you can play free MP3s without downloading them, nearly every band featured has a MP3 available.

It's the first link in my sig, the second one is to a site called Gibraltar, which i like to refer to as the proglopedia. :)

"Goodbye We're Falling Fast"

Your pretty face disguised
in a veil of fear
drip with tears
as I gave you one last
kiss before the fall (before the fall)
Hold my hand you're so beautiful
let's escape from this life and end it all
on three we're jumping from this ledge
this buildings tall
I'm sure we'll wake up dead
but I still love her

Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye

A picture perfect attempt at
a quick and painless death
came and meant
something so much more
than all the rest (than all the rest)
Hold my hand and don't forget to breathe
there's nothing left for you
there's nothing left to leave
on three we're jumping from this ledge
this buildings tall
I'm sure we'll wake up dead
but I still love her

Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah and make it last

With these moments we hold dear
(inside my heart)
and the seconds we have left
(inside my heart)
I know you're here inside my heart [2x]

Hold your hand with mine
in this picture perfect light
there's one last chance for us
tonight
I hold your hand with mine
so everything is fine
so say good by now say goodbye
tonight

Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we'll make it last
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye
yeah we're falling fast
I'll live forever
Say goodbye say goodbye

yeah thats not emo

motley_crue131 06-17-2006 10:27 PM

aiden is an emocore band

swim 06-17-2006 10:28 PM

I wasn't talking about that sense of the word scene. I was talking about what happens to be "the" scene at that time. Eh, you know what the media happens to be pushing.

Lyrics don't determine genres.
Aiden is just plain generic rock.

I've come to decide that compared to Peter Gabriel, what Wakeman wears aint so bizzare, you just can't top dressing up as a hemroid.

That is debatable. Especially when you're talking about stuff like emo, pop, and in this case rock. (Kinda wierd using rock, pop, and emo all in the same sentence like that.)
It's either rock or it isn't.

Peace
