I didn't quite contradict myself... I said a ****ty song with catchy tunes/lyrics pissed me off, and a decent song with catchy tunes/lyrics was one I could stomach. Then I said I find a catchy tune/lyric set refreshing once in a while.

S'all good though. As long as we're in agreement on the last part.

I've read your post over twice now.
I'm pretty sure you contradicted youself.

If a song isn't good to me, and its lyrics/tune are catchy, then it pisses me off. If a song is good (to me), and the lyrics/tune are catchy, then I don't mind.

But if you like SOAD's old stuff you might like a bandc aleld Otep. Otep is the female fronted version of SOAD in my opinion. And she's hot too. (A bonus and extra incentive to see them live)

I don't really like this band.
If I had to choose a favorite song it would probably be The Forest. Yeah.
Not a fan.

Once they wen't mainstream they started to be pretty abysmal. Yeah yeah call me an elitest but after their first cd everything else was too radio friendly.
