They're not the worst band ever, clearly. However, not even close to the best.

They've had songs that I've liked. They've had songs I hated. They're not very good when it comes to producing consistantly good music.

Yeah, they aren't consistent enough to be in the top ranks.

Their first 3 or so albums are horrible to the point that I'd rather go listen to a running faucet. The latter 2 showed some signs of improvement but the music just wasn't good enough to keep my attention for more than 2 seconds. Seriously overhyped. The Menudo of metal.

Really though, this bands just, popular. Much like Slipknot, they're just popular. Mostly all older metal bands will slaughter this bands, handsdown.
