I beg your pardon? While I partially agree, that was a dumb thing to say.

Though it was a deranged goat that did kill Dimebag. Dopey prick, now how will Pantera get back together.

Pantera were the best band that i have heard since the good old days of Black Sabbath.
There music influenced me in so many ways. And Dimebag Darrell, God Rest His Soul, was the best feckin guitar player since .... well the early greats! He can now be called a God!

Yep, I like Pantera quite a lot. My fav albums are Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar Display of Power. Dimebag Darrell was a great guitarist. For me:

1.) Cemetery Gates
2.) Floods
3.) Hollow
4.) Walk
5.) Cowboys from Hell

Aw c'mon, that post was just as sincere and relevant as the rest in this thread... You can admire a guitarist and not be 'trying too hard'..

I can admire him.
He most certainly doesn't deserve a guitar god title.
Thomas Erak and Steve Vai are way more skilled.
OH BUT THEY ARENT DEAD SO THEY CANT BE BETTER
