YouTube - joey jordison

^There's the solo that everyone loves. It's not the greatest solothere is, but it's pretty damn fast.

not bad, but he isn't the greatest IMO. The blast beats he tries to pull in the second video sounds terrible. But he can do some pretty fast double bass. Thats just my observations from the videos.

His double kicks are incredible, that's basically what makes all his stuff sound good. He's fast, but there is much better.

Now if only he'd learn how to write a song.

Drum solos are officially the most boring thing in music.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say seeing as he's made about 5 albums with Slipknot, and don't give me sh*t about Slipknot being bad because I've yet to see you make any songs.

Edit: 900 posts

I don't make any claims to be a great songwriter so I don't need to make any songs.
Using your arguement you can't claim to judge any food you've eaten due to you not being a chef.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

here is some excellent videos of George ripping it up. His main skill is in his double bass though he is very good with the rest of the kit as well.

Here he explains how he does the kicks so fast:
