That would be a travesty. I'm hoping it becomes cool to like thrash and traditional heavy metal again. Both genres are making a comeback thanks to the good ol' mighty power of retro, so it could happen. there was a bit of a thrash revival. most of the new bands sucked hard, though

I wouldn't think so, Bonded By Blood, Mantic Ritual, and Warbringer (their first album was meh, but their last album is pretty good) are all pretty good, at least I think so, definently not as good as most of the classics though. Speaking of which, did you hear Heathen's new album yet? It blows 99.9% of today's metal out of the water in my opinion.

Bring Me The Horizon was okay when they were heavier. Now they just suck with their light music. They were only a good album band, Oli sucks live.
