1. AMG is not the only site I gave links to.
2. Britney Spears hasn't released nearly as many albums as DT. 3. The only studio album that received less than 3.5 stars was Falling Into Infinity, aside from their first release (which was when they had a different lineup, as far as I know) Anyway, yeah, I guess you didn't say they did, but I felt that you were implying it. In any case, in your first post, you said, "critically acclaimed", not, "universally loved". |
Isn't that what ciritcally acclaimed means? If not, then what doesn it mean? I think it means being universally loved. But whatever. AMG ia where most of their positive review's are from.

And all of the reviews I linked you to are positive, and well over half of them are not from AMG. |
I'd hardly take any of AMG's ratings seriously.
Those reviews & ratings tend to represent how an album is rated in the context of the band's other material , rather than in general. It's just a guide really to let you know which bands albums are the best , usually written by people who like and are knowledgeable about the band. |
That's why I love it. If I clicked on a Wolf Eyes album and the review said "this is unlistenable noise, don't pick it up," I probably would never go to amg again.
I don't necessarily assume that 4.5 on AMG makes it better than every album I've ever seen on that site with a 4 or less, but they usually do make a good pick for best album. |

So? Being critically acclaimed mean's you have positive review's from everyone.
|
No it doesn't.
