Boris The Spider by The Who.........wtf is that all about? (and please don't say a spider)

But it does have that lumbering groove which, quite frankly, rocks. |
You wont find a bigger fan than me. But just because I'm a fan, doesn't mean I wont say it's crap if it is.
Same with Bambi Kill. |
the same chord progressions have been used in tens of thousands of rock'n'roll songs. chord progressions are not patented. plus, if we're talking progressions of five or so chords, it's perfectly possible for two, three, however many artists, to come up with identical progressions independently of having heard the work of the others.
if i looked hard enough i could find numerous works of classical music written for guitar/piano that have parts based around the same progression in stairway. it's not even a particularly unique, interesting, unusual progression. it's quite musically logical and straightforward. somebody might think to do it in mere improvisational work. |
How about Yellow Submarine? I hate that ****.
jesus BY QUEEN wtf Freddie
That's a great cover man.
How's about half of the United Abominations album by Megadeth. |
There are a few gems on it though, Sleepwalker and Never Walk Alone come to mind!
sleepwalker is a good song. but the vocals are atrocious. i like him and all but he has a sort of Rob Zombie taste to him which i like and dont like all at once. his singing gets old pretty fast.
Megadeth have made some great tracks over the years. PEACE SELLS is still a fine Thrash album.
i really love listening to A Tout Le Monde from the United Abominations album. Its an amazing song and Christina Scabbia is a perfect person to do the song with. I love it so much. I have it on my iPod so i can listen to it alllll the time lol.
and than United Abominations brought them up again.
a little bit more but yeah. but at least they brought themselves back. i saw them live a few months back and there new material live is absolutely amazing and of course they threw in Symphony of Destruction which is easily one of there greatest hits to this time and so forth and what not.

Octopus' Garden is in the same boat, but I still like that song. |
Jump - Van Halen
What a bunch of damn powerhouses in that band, and that's the crud they come up with? You know they put that on the album just to get airplay. I'm sure not one of them likes that song. Although, they do play it when they tour. So, wtf! |
i love Ice cream man...
the one that comes to min mind is
the icky thumb by the white stripes but i hate the band too .. |
Anything from "At the Gates?"

St. Anger by Metallica...........absolutely atrocious
Enter Sandman-Metallica
Its not horrible, it is just simply over-rated and overplayed. |
Well thats a countering opinion...
idk the song title, but my vote is the "I used to love her" song by GNR. Good God, that is grating on the ears. WTF were they thinking when they actually made that a real song?
