Green Day - Dookie
I know everybody hates the cr-p out of them these days, but who's going to deny that this album was at least pretty good?
I haven't heard it for years but I remember in the mid-nineties thinking it was pretty awesome. Course they've had a major change of direction in recent times becoming a pretty lame alternative rock act, but their origins weren't all that bad. Who agrees? |

It was one of my favorite records when I was a wee lass of 12-13...but in retrospect, it wasn't that good. I'd say American Idiot is vastly superior..........yesthats'right...I said it.*smug*

Nostalgia seems to be a strong characteristic when it comes to humans. There is however no denying that previous albums of artists are generally considered to be of a higher (emotional, if not technical) quality than later ones.
