Default Music Search - what else would i like

Hi guys

I am from South Africa and we don't have a large rock culture here, You hardly hear it on the radio, and clubs don't play it or just play the "safe" classics: Gun 'n Roses, ADCD, Queen etc..... i kid you not, Avril Lavigne is considered rock here, I dont consider myself a hard rocker but may a bolt of lighting strike anyone who puts those words together: "Avril Lavigne" and "rock"

anyway, this brings me to my point i dont get alot of expose to good "rock" music. After reading the "The Metal Education Thread" i see myself falling into the Nu Metal genres. So below are a list of bands i a really loving at the moment and if you know of any others i might like please post them:
  • Breaking Benjamin
  • In Flames
  • Pacifier
  • Otep
  • SpineShank
  • Ultraspank
  • Hawthorne Heights
  • Blind Conoly
  • RED - End Of Silence

Just to name a few,

thanks for any feed back

I have little doubt that you will really like Three Days Grace.

You like Pacifier? They're a NZ band.

A bit generic but they have a couple of good songs. I listen to them mainly out of nostalgia.

As you're a nu-metalhead, you might really like Slipknot too. Worth a try.

EDIT: How could I forget. You'll love Papa Roach too.

I just purchased Alter Bridge, Three Days Grace, Submersed & Revelation Theory. I also like Theory of a Deadman, Cold, Trust Company, Korn, Crossfade and Hinder to name a few.
