Indeed.

Autolux are great, but they need to get some new s'hit released. Maybe they have and I've missed it...anyway, Future Perfect is a great album.

Asobi Seksu are a NY-based dream pop band, but they have some of the densest, fuzziest guitars I've heard. The shoegaze influence is very apparent.

does anyone rate Galaxie 500? I've always hear alot about them but I'm undecided based on youtube excursions. I can't decide whether it's 'slowcore' proto-shoegaze goodness or just a bunch of people who can't play that happen to sound cool. hang on...

Their new album is done. They had to switch labels. Supposedly it's coming out here in the near future. And yes Future Perfect is amazing.

I love Asobi Seksu. The only thing that sucks about them is that the vocals are a little too drowned out. Otherwise I love their sound.

lol. I'd consider them slowcore. if you dig their sound, check out Engineers, Low, The American Analog Set, and Bedhead, for starters

I don't think they're anything groundbreaking but This Is Our Music & On Fire are well worth a listen.

And I second enemyat_thesix's recommendation of Bedhead.

Alcest are not quite shoegaze, but then again they are not quite metal or post rock either. Just a brilliant combination of all three. give it a listen.

I like Swerve driver too, but they had a poppy edge. I need to get some quality shoegaze.

Someone sent me one of their albums about 6 months ago and I really liked it a lot. But I would definitely place them in shoegazing. That's just me though.

Ride-Nowhere is one of the awesomest albums ever made.

I think that Ride made great tracks (DRIVE BLIND, LEAVE THEM ALL BEHIND), but never fully realised their potential. I do like them though.
